A silicone sealant is a kind of adhesive that is used in many different applications. From simple labels to airplanes, from kitchen sink to skyscrapers, silicone sealants are made to make our life simpler and easier. They are rubber-like material, may be viscous, which is composed of silicone, together with other elements such as hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. Usually, silicone sealants are also used in industrial purposes to seal machinery and other equipments to avoid leaks and any unnecessary passage. They are also used in different wiring applications as an adhesive due to their non-flammable property. Since also they are able to withstand extreme temperature, such as intense heat and freeze, they are mostly utilized as an insulator and fire barriers in many equipments.
